What parts should be paid attention to in spring correction?

source:Qianye Precision time:2023-8-21

Stainless steel spring is a common basic component, which is indispensable for many products.

Normally, in order to optimize the quality of the spring, manufacturers will carry out correction

treatment. Of course, if there is any inappropriateness in the processing, it will seriously affect

the processing effect, so everyone must be careful when correcting.

There are three parts in the correction process:

First, the outer diameter.

Generally, the outer diameter of the coil spring can be guaranteed to be unbiased, but the

winding ratio of the spring is too large and the tolerance of the outer diameter of the spring is

very strict, so the outer diameter needs to be corrected.

Second, pitch and height.

The pitch is the main criterion for acceptance. If the free height of the stainless steel tape spring

cannot be guaranteed, the correction method can be used to adjust it.

Last but not least is verticality.

The verticality and precision can be improved through calibration in order to meet the requirements of high-precision verticality.
