I’m sure many of you know what a constant force spring is, right? A constant force spring is a spring that maintains a constant spring force for a specific stroke, also called a constant force spring, and is used in a linear motion, usually using its rebound force. A constant force spring consists of a spiral-shaped metal sheet that is bent on the inside so that each coil is wound tightly around the innermost coil of the metal sheet. When the metal sheet is stretched, the internal stress resists the load force, which is exactly the same as a normal extension spring, but the spring force is very constant and can output a nearly linear spring force.
The use of a constant force spring on the lift support enables the supported structure to hover over gravity at any position during the allowable travel.
However, in order to achieve a variety of functions and operations, the supported structure, such as a monitor, usually weighs more than the white body of the device. In order to ensure a large support force, the constant force spring needs to use a thick elastic metal sheet. However, the thick elastic metal sheet will lead to a short effective constant force spring travel.
The purpose of this constant force spring die set is to provide a constant force spring die set that is capable of maintaining a large constant force lift value and a constant force effective stroke within an effective mounting space. Another purpose is to provide a constant force spring lift mechanism that not only provides a greater constant lift force, but also reduces the mounting space of the lift structure, simplifies the installation procedure and process of the lift mechanism, and also reduces the use of jigs.
What is a constant force spring module?
The constant force spring module also includes a fixed connection plate: the number of constant force springs is two, and the extension ends of the two constant force springs are fitted to the fixed connection plate. The technical effect is that the fixed connection plate enables the two constant force springs to be joined together, prevents the constant force springs from moving in the wrong direction, and facilitates the rolling extension of the two constant force springs in the same direction. At the same time, the installation structure such as the connection holes on the fixed connection plate can prevent structural damage to the constant force spring itself, and does not affect the complete function of the constant force spring.
